From the city life of San Jose, to the Northern California soils they came and manifested an agricultural delight of wholesome, pure, pleasingly delicious wines.
Humble Beginnings
LaRocca Vineyards was born in 1984 when Philip and Judy began farming 110 acres of unkept Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot wine grapes, on Doe Mill Ridge in Forest Ranch, California. We transformed this family vineyard into a thriving, successful certified organic operation.
LaRocca Vineyards is located at 2600 feet elevation on the lower southern slopes of Mount Lassen, where the soil is rich in minerals. The water source is pure, straight from the snow melt of Mt. Lassen.

With our amazing location and Philip LaRocca's master organic growing skills, we have sold grapes to such icons as Parducci Family Winery, Fetzer Vineyards, Bonterra and Frey Vineyards. all while perfecting the art of organic wine making.
Family-Owned, Certified Organic
In 1991 LaRocca Vineyards released our first organic wine, under LaRocca Vineyards label. Keeping with his belief and passion, Philip LaRocca knew he would only make the purest wine with no chemicals, NO SULFITES. We have been CCOF certified organic from vine-to-bottle since 1984.
Today, two generations of LaRocca's, along with our staff, relentlessly pursue organic wine perfection. With D. Tony LaRocca, second-generation organic grape farmer, and daughters Maria LaRocca McCord and Phaedra LaRocca Morrill in the winery alongside her father, we continue to master the art of enjoyable and delicious winemaking.
LaRocca Vineyards wine brand continues to grow and offer new varieties, vintages, and exceptional organic wines.
